Kiliyur Falls is a beautiful waterfall situated in Shevaroyan Hills range. It is just 3 kilometers from the famous Yercaud lake. This waterfalls drop into kiliyur valley from the height of 300 meters (91 ft). It is formed by the overflowing of the Yercaud Lake during rainy season so it is a seasonal waterfall. It is recommended to visit this falls during rainy season that is June to August. There is no entry fees required to visit this pristine place.
To reach the waterfalls people needs to take 200 - 250 steps. There is an adequate seating space available near the stairs to take rest. It can take upto 1 hour to reach the waterfalls. There is no shop in between the stairs so it is advised to take food and water bottles along with you.
